Privacy Notice

This platform is built for students and staff of Govt. Polytechnic Jamnagar. Here's what we collect and why.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email. Students additionally provide an enrollment number, age, and academic scores (SPI/CPI/GPA) during setup. Attendance records, doubts you post, and assignment/result data are created as you use the platform.

Why we collect it

Solely to run the platform's core features: marking and verifying attendance, showing your timetable and results, and letting professors manage assignments and doubts for their classes.

Anonymous doubts

Doubts you post during a live class are shown to other students as text only — never with your name or enrollment number. Professors can see your identity so they can follow up, but your classmates never can. This is enforced at the database level, not just hidden in the interface.

Who can see what

  • Your own attendance, results, and assignments — visible only to you and professors.
  • Professors can see full class rosters, attendance, and doubt identities for classes they manage.
  • Other students never see your grades, attendance, or doubt identity.

Where it's stored

Data is stored with Supabase (PostgreSQL) and access is restricted by row-level security policies enforced at the database layer. We don't sell or share your data with third parties.

Questions
